If you’re a fan of the experimental, then you’ve likely given Animal Collective a listen or two. Their new album, Merriweather Post Pavilion, has already been given almost universally rave reviews from everyone from Spin Magazine to Pitchfork, who gave it a 9.6 (the highest they’ve given since Arcade Fire’s Funeral in 2004). It drops in stores today, though they released it on vinyl weeks ago.
The reason for this post, though: they are coming to Stubbs on June 5th! Tickets aren’t on sale yet, but when we have a date for that we’ll definitely let you know. Expect this show to sell out quickly.
