In my opinion, Q-Tip ranks among one of the top 10 rappers of all time (along with likes of Chuck D, Eazy E, and Slick Rick). You know him as the front man for A Tribe Called Quest, and probably know his work with Deee-Lite and The Chemical Brothers. Well he just released his latest solo album entitled The Renaissance. This is one of my favorite albums so far this year, and gets better every time I hear it. Today’s catch is called “Life is Better”, which features the vocal talents of Norah Jones – yes, I said Norah Jones. The song pretty much pays respect to all past and present rap & hip hop stars who have made life better over the years. Also, be sure to check out Q-Tip this Thursday (11/20) at Stubb’s. Enjoy!
