Austin band Brazos has a sound that could fit into the soundtrack of your life. Some songs settle into the background, illustrating everyday moments with quiet complexity, while others kick in and rock out. The lead singer’s voice is easy and flexible, and he’ll occasionally surprise you and bust out with a falsetto that is dedicated.Think post-rock guitars – they have three – with acknowledgements to more traditional southern rock and folk, and guitar almost entirely taking the place of keyboard, and you’ll have some small idea of what Brazos is all about.
