The Story: So a few weeks ago Ray did an internet search on Jason Lytle who is the lead singer of Grandaddy. What he came up with is an artist who was compared to him named Matthew Sandstedt. Matthew is the frontman for the Minneapolis band I, Colossus. So RD asked me to look into this band.
The Outcome: I, Colossus turns out to be a nice mix between The Pixies, Grandaddy, and Death Cab for Cutie. This band that we happened to run into by fate is a very talented foursome out of MN. Their self-titled album is available through Itunes, and I highly recommend you check it out. Today’s catch is “I’ll Hide Behind the Boiler”. Enjoy!
